Chapter 7: Our internal systems

We have designed our product with privacy-by-design in mind. This approach also affects the way how we work and the tools we use. We trust our users and each other and do not measure every click we make.

We use the following tools:

• 1Password – to generate, store and share secure passwords
• Allinkl – instead of Gmail
• Brave or Firefox – instead of Chrome
• Samdock – instead of Salesforce
• Edkimo – instead of Mentimeter or SurveyMonkey 🙂
• Hetzner – instead of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
• Jitsi – instead of Zoom, Google Hangouts or MS Teams
• Nextcloud – instead of Dropbox
• Plausible.io – instead of Google Analytics
• Brevo – instead of Mailchimp
• Mattermost – instead of Slack
